Patna: Head of Bihar Minister Nith Kumar on Friday asked health officials to make arrangements for Testing Omicron variants in the state as early as possible so that infected by Omicron can be detected immediately and their care can begin on time.
Given the meeting with the Ministry of Health officials to review the Covid-19 situation, he also said that Bihar had witnessed an increasing trend in cases in the past two to three days.
He asked the official to maintain the vigil on an increasing trend.
The review meeting was held in the hall where CM ‘Sankalp’ lived.
Previously on that day, CM when talking to media media, said the current country did not have facilities to detect the omicron variant of the sample.
“Samples collected from patients were sent to Delhi for genome sequencing.
It consumes time.
We will make the settings needed for the genome sequencing in the state to get a quick report for the Omicron variant,” Nitish said.
Because asked about the possibility of continuing online classes in government-managed schools after a trend of fresh gains in the Covid-19 case, said Nitish, “although cases have increased in the past few days.
However, the situation in Bihar is not too bad.

“After receiving feedback from officials at the review meeting, cm then asked them to do all the settings needed in all medical and hospital colleges, along with the district hospital and Sub-division, to meet the challenges caused by the third wave of Covid-19.
“In addition to ensuring the availability of oxygen and adequate medicines, save the medical team and technicians in the alert mode in all hospitals,” Nithish told health officials.
Cm then expressed happiness for the settlement of 10 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in the state.
“Because I have been told that a total of 10 doses of crore from the Covid-19 vaccine are given in the state, to this day.
This is a big happiness problem for all of us,” he said.
Previously, Pratyaya Amrit’s additional principal (health), through the presentation, informed CM about the increasing number of Covid-19 cases and preparation made by the Ministry of Health to load the virus.
He also told CM about state-wise separation from Omicron variants and testing reports and positivity for the last 8 days at Bihar.
Amrit also informs the CM that the Ministry of Health has appointed a nodal officer in each district.
This Nodal officer will oversee everything related to Covid-19.
Amrit also informs that according to CM instruction, Covid medical kit will be sent at home by postonal speed post for patients with isolated at home.
All information about the use of drugs and precautions to be taken by patients during house isolation, will also be printed in the medical kit, he said.
Minister of Health Mangal Pandey was also present at a review meeting.
