Crime Wearing Footwear in Temple, Case Booked

Mangaluru: Shree Karinjeshwara Temple Management at Kavalamudoor Village, Bantal Taluk in Dakshina Kannada District, has filed a complaint at the Punjaltatte Police Station on Wednesday, after a villain video trying to tarnish places of worship into viral.
Vinay Kumar, in a complaint in the name of the President of the Temple Managing Committee, said the defendant had arrived in a car registered in Kerala to the temple.
He stated that efforts were made to hurt religious sentiments, after criminals entered the temple wearing footwear.
Kumar said that he had seen the video on Tuesday, and examined the video, they learned that the video was uploaded on October 7 on a social media platform.
The defendant, despite knowing that it was a place of worship, it had hurt religious sentiments with their actions, he said.
A case has been submitted under the IPC 295 section (injuring or monitoring places of worship with the intention to insult religion in any class).
