Zagreb: Croatia has decided to tighten control of the spread of Covid-19 along his adriatic coast in an effort to keep the vital summer tourist season economically, Bozinovic’s interior minister said on Friday.
“Every public meeting of more than 50 people will be banned from next week,” Davor Bozinovic, who is also the head of the National Civil Protection Directorate, said at the Press Conference of the Zagreb capital.
Exceptions will gather up to 1,000 people, such as for concerts that will require all participants to show certificates that they are both vaccinated, negatively tested for viruses, or have recovered from respiratory diseases.
“Likewise, anyone who wants to attend any sporting event must meet the requirements,” he said.
Croatia, with a stunning and rude Dalmatian coast and chains of islands, coating the beach, waste sea and historic famous cities including Dubrovnik, is a great lottery for travelers from Italy, Germany, Austria and Central and Eastern Europe.
Tourism contributes 20% of croato domestic product.
