Bengaluru: For Jee-Advanced toppers from Karnataka, the preferred course to pursue is a clear computer science engineering at the Indian-Bombay Institute of Technology.
Veeresh B Patil has secured all Indians rank 39 in Jee-Advanced and is a Topper State Karnataka.
A student of Oxford Independent PU College, he has scored 600 of 600 in II PU, topping the number of Komed-K ranked and comes 7 in CET.
The jee-advanced results were announced on Friday.
Veeresh said he would choose CS in Iit-Bombay.
“I want to do engineering because it involves many analytical skills.
I don’t have specific likes to branch.
But CS offers the opportunity to explore a wider domain and I want to use that opportunity.
And Iit-Bombay is the best in CS,” he said.
Veeresh was preparing for a five-year jee with Allen Coaching Center.
“It’s a long trip.
It’s fun like that work hard.
But all efforts have been paid off,” he said.
His father was a software engineer and a housewife mother.
Prementkur C has a rating of all India of 54.
A NPS student Yelahanka, Premanke said it was interest in programming that had pushed it to choose CS.
