Cyclist Kitchlu Nagar is given to I-Day

Ludhiana: On Independence Day, Vijay Mittar, a 65-year-old international cyclist from Kitchlu Nagar, was respected by food minister and civil supply Bharat Bhushan.
Mittar who cycled in some parts of the world is recognized for its extraordinary contribution in spreading social messages through cycling.
Mittar, the retirement of the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), has become a role model for young people, conveying messages choosing cycling to save the environment.
“I have trekking for the past 12 years almost.
Age is just a number; One can stay fit and healthy until his last breath.
During the past seven years, I will experience a broad riding adventure.
I often see the city youth who travels a long trip on a motorcycle for Adventure.
I started cycling to motivate them too, and finally I turned it into a career, “he said.
He also participated in Paris Paris’s breasts in 2019 for racing 1,220 kilometers in France.
In 2017, 2018 and 2019, he became the first senior Indian cyclist who completed three Super Randonneaures in a row 200, 300, 400, 600, and 1,000 kilometers.
Mittar completed a bicycle sightseeing 615 kilometers throughout the city of Punjab in just 30 hours, eligible for RAAM and a place in one of the toughest cycling events in the world, a race throughout America, which will take place next year.
