Pune: The number of Daily Covid-19 cases increased to a height of two and a half months in the Metropolitan area of Pune (PMR) on Thursday, with 477 people testing positive infections here to fight 404 days earlier.
A total of 138 people recovered from Covid-19 at PMR on Thursday, while three more patients gave up on complications related to infection.
With this, the total Caseload has risen above 11.63 lakh at PMR, while recovery has reached 11.42 lakh.
So far, 19,244 has given up on infections in the region.
The Daily Covid report 19 issued by the district administration stated that active cases in the region had increased to 2,566, including 1,978 patients in home care and 5.88 in hospital insulation.
Among new cases, the PMC area added 297, followed by the PCMC (80) limit and rural areas (69).
Other areas in this region such as councils and Cantonese add 10 and 20 cases.
The new recovery, PCMC area added (67), followed by the PMC area (33) and a rural part (19).
