LONDON: More than 10,000 new Omicron cases have been reported in England at the highest daily surge so far, because the total number of Covid-19 infections stands above 90,000 cases.
The British Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has confirmed an additional 10,059 new variant cases on Saturday, more than tripled than reported on Friday (3,201), taking the total number of cases to 24,968.
