Mangaluru: Analysis of Death Due to Covid-19 that occurred in Dakshina Kannada since the Pandemic outbreak, revealed nearly 65% of deaths reported after 72 hours of patient hospitalization.

During this period, Dakshina Kannada reported 1,03,835 cases with a case mortality rate (CFR) of 1.4%.
Of the total deaths, 1,193 were patients from the district, and 284 patients from other districts died.
CFR patients from other districts were 6.7%.
