DAS: The government patronizes illegal mining in Santhal Pargana

Ranchi: Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Friday claimed that coal mining, stone, and illegal sand was carried out by the mafia at the Heartland tribe of Santhal Pargana under the protection of Dumka Mla Soren JMM.
Das, at a press conference at the Ranchi press club, said: “All illegal mining activities throughout the Jharkhand are being brought under the family’s ruling watch in a well-organized state.” The watershed claimed that the government of Hemant Soren in power was not auctioned by the country’s sand ghats for two years so that illegal sand mining could be done without being caused.
“Our government has been looking for expressions of interest from companies to ensure organized sand mining and successful companies have also been selected.
But the government changes and the forces of Ghats are suspended without time limits,” alleged.
The watershed claimed that one Grand mining company, where Basant was an owner, sent 5 lakh tons of stone chips via the train train through Pinar Ghatiya Siding last October.
“Crores of State Revenue is lost because shipping is sent without a valid mining.
Nothing can be sent from Sidings Railway in Dumka without the approval of MLA Local Assistants.
They have floated two mining companies and all indents must be in accordance with their names,” Alleged.
Das, who is also the BJP National Vice President, claims that the illegal zone has been formed in the area to send rocks and sand which is mined illegally through Sahebanj, where representatives of MLA Hemant (PANKAJ Mishra) calls a shot.
He even accused that the coal mafia did not allow the PSU coal company to transport coal from mines and their livestock smuggled to Bangladesh from Santhal Pargana which was not saved.
Das, who recently criticized Hemant as ‘Babua’ and his government as ‘Abua Sarkar’, also alleged that the petting government misleading a court order in the case of Shah Brothers by hiding the actual status of the company’s penalty that owed the government.
