Bijnor: The audience witnessed with full attention as “King Dashrath” who was desperate ran to the edge of the stage, crying for his son, RAM, who continued with 14 years of exile.
Suddenly, the king collapsed on stage, drawing a festive applause from the audience who thought he was quite convincing in his depiction of a father who soaked his son.
A few realized that the actor played the role – former Pradhan Rajender Kashyap Village (62) from Hasanpur Village in the Rehad Bijnor area – actually died.
Sanjay Singh Gandhi, President of the Ramlila Committee, said, “It is very tragic.
There is no body who realizes what really happened.
Everyone lives clapping, remembering it as part of a great acting even though he suffered a massive heart attack.” When members of the other actors rushed to Kashyap’s help, it was too late.
Can’t turn it back on, they rushed to the medical facility but he was declared dead by a doctor.
The wave of sadness swept his village, whose residents had seen him impose various ramlila characters year after year over the past two decades.
Kashyap survived his wife, three sons and two daughters.
He was cremated on Friday night.
