Mangaluru: A family of seven who refused to be vaccinated against Covid-19 had agreed to take photos after the deputy commissioner of Udupi M Kurma went to their home and spoke to them on Saturday.
The family lived in the colony in Brahmavar in Saibrakatte.
They are somehow afraid of side effects that can be induced by vaccines.
Asha workers, doctors and representatives have tried to convince them, but they are not ready to take photos.
One family member has died because of Covid-19 but still a family is not sure about the efficacy of the vaccine.
Dates, who visited the Public Health Center in Saibgrakatte on Saturday, learned about family.
He visited the colony and managed to convince the family about vaccine security.

This district has so far provided the first dose of 9.24 lakh (92.5%) from 9.99 lakh target beneficiaries over 18 years.
