Rajkot: The newborn body was found wrapped in a black plastic bag from a solid waste tray from the Civic body in Rajkot on Friday morning.
The incident was revealed when the Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) staff collected waste from the trash can located between Husseini Chowk to Kanaiya Chowk in Jangleshwar.
“The baby’s body was found wrapped in plastic bags.
We immediately told the police and filed a complaint against unknown people under Part 318 (born hidden with the Disposal of the Corpse) from Indian Criminal Code, ” said an RMC official.
Police Bhakti Nagar in the city of Rajkot Launch the probe and check CCTV reserves from nearby shops to identify the culprit.
