Palanpur: At the early hours of Thursday morning around 3am, the thief solved Ino ATM ATM Kiosk Bank in Visnagar Road, Mehsana and decamped with Rs 17.5 lakh.
According to the police, the robbers covered CCTV cameras with fabrics before theft and police tried to get a clue about the perpetrators.
“We have formed a team consisting of LCB and SOG personnel and also local B divisions and have launched intensive search operations to arrest robbers,” said Mehsana Dysp Ri Desai to the Toi on Thursday.
“The problem is there is no security outside the booth to keep an ATM that makes it easy for criminals to go with their work easily,” said the village, adding that the police worked to get instructions on how many thieves there total and also tried to track the runaway route they.
“We hope to hope to catch the perpetrators immediately,” he added.
