Pune: Deputy Chief of Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday said the decision to allow theater and auditorium to operate at a 100% capacity will be taken after post-Diwali, after assessing the Covid-19 situation in the state.
“This will be considered only if the case continues to decline because the state has announced unlocking for all sectors.
The Covid situation will be assessed in a week after Diwali,” he said.
Theater, cinema, and auditorium opened at a capacity of 50% in the state on Friday.
Ajit Pawar said the request of the owner of the facility to enable them to operate with a 100% capacity will be considered post-diwali by the minister’s head only if the case continues to decline.
After meeting the Weekly Covid Review, District Pune, Deputy Minister of Chief said that India’s achievements to reach one billion vaccination were the result of health planning and health brotherhood efforts.
“Maharashtra has reached almost 10 crore vaccinations, namely 10% of the calculation of national vaccination.
Calculating Pune regency consisting of 1.17 doses of crore is 12% of the average country,” he said.
The District Weekly Institution (WPR) is below 5% for the three administrative units this week too.
It was 2.7% this week compared to 2.9% last week.
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area registered a 2% WPR and 1.8% within the Pimbri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) limit.
In Pune rustic, it is 3.2%.
All three administrative units are registered in WPR from the last week.
Deputy Chief of Mister said efforts to increase vaccination in the district will continue.
Local authorities will reach the housing community and two shift weekly vaccination drives will be carried out in all rural areas until 31 October.
“In the last two weeks, a significant increase of 9% was registered in the overall vaccination,” he said.
