Pune: Deputy Chief of Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday said the decision to allow theater and auditorium to operate at a 100% capacity will be taken after post-Diwali, after assessing the Covid-19 situation in the state.
“This will be considered only if the case continues to decline because the state has announced unlocking for all sectors.
The Covid situation will be assessed in a week after Diwali,” he said.
Theater, cinema, and auditorium opened at a capacity of 50% in the state on Friday.
Ajit Pawar said the request of the owner of the facility to enable them to operate with a 100% capacity will be considered post-diwali by the minister’s head only if the case continues to decline.
After meeting the Weekly Covid Review, District Pune, Deputy Minister of Chief said that India’s achievements to reach one billion vaccination were the result of health planning and health brotherhood efforts.
“Maharashtra has reached almost 10 crore vaccinations, namely 10% of the calculation of national vaccination.
