Yavatmal: Pusad Police have ordered 450-500 Morcha Maha Participants organized by GOR Banjara Sena on Friday at Pusad for their demands.
SP Patil-Bhujbal said that district collectors had applied part 144 of the CR PC which prohibited assembly of more than 5 people in the city of Pusad.
Representatives from various groups have applied for their letterhead for previous permission from the police for a rally.
“We have so far identified more than 450-500 members whose names knew on letterhead and violations were registered against them all,” Bhujbal said.
Reportedly more than 40,000 people have participated in Morcha even when the police intercepted vehicles carrying people from various districts.
The delegation met with SDO from Pusad and filed a memorandum of their requests in the case of anger where a member of the community was killed.
On December 3, one Laxman Rathod and a young man from the village of Kali (Daulat Khan) was involved in anger.
A group of young men allegedly stabbed Rathod Shyam’s younger brother with a sword.
Shyam died in place.
