New Delhi / Ghaziabad: It may take a few more days for the highway on the border of Delhi to open for traffic bound and bound after farmers who protest leaving the site, the source said.

As far as the barricades that have been arranged on the Delhi side of Meerut Expressway, Ghaziabad SP (traffic), Ramanand Kushwaha said, “It’s up to Delhi’s police when they will eliminate the barricade, but we consider it to be done soon.” He added, “We propose a joint meeting With Delhi police where we will discuss the way the barricade will be deleted.
” Previously, Nhai’s local office had written a letter to Ghaziabad and the East Delhi Administration which tried to establish a team for damage assessment caused by the portion of freeway.
Already suggested that the team must have representatives from local administration, police, PWD or technical wings, NHAI, private concessions and project supervision consultants.
