Delhi: Driven by the desire for luxury cars, men change thieves

New Delhi: A 42-year-old man, son of a businessman, was arrested near the monastery market in North Delhi for stealing more than 40 cars, most SUVs, from various parts of the city.
He used to steal high security numbers to target cars.
The police have received a complaint last year in December about the theft of SUVs from the civil line area.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi said, after one month pursuit, they captured the market accused, Kunal, near the monastery on January 11.
The team that caught him was led by Sho (civil lines) Ajay Sharma.
A investigator told Ti that Kunal stole his first vehicle in 2013 because he just wanted to drive the car.
“He crashed into a police vehicle during his first trip and Nabbed.
Then, he began to do vehicle theft,” the police said.
According to the police, it is used to steal a car on request by changing the number plate.
“He stole more than 40 SUVs and sold it up and Kashmir.
The price starts from Rs 90,000,” investigators said.
Kunal is used to steal a luxury car from Delhi-NCR.
He wants to finish a century of theft.
Accusations acknowledged that his passion for driving a new car every day and his luxurious lifestyle destroyed it.
He came from a good family background and studied in a famous monastery school.
Kunal claims that he can steal any car in just five minutes.
As requested, he was first used to identify vehicle models.
He is then used to steal the number plate of make, color, and the same model model and then, he will steal the targeted vehicle.
The defendant used to keep the stolen vehicle on random parking locations for several days to check whether the vehicle has been traced by the police.
