The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Horticulture Department claims to have done all the preparations on land.
An official said that tulips had begun to bloom in Central Park, but because of intense flu, it would take another week or more to bloom completely.
Tulips have been introduced in Central Park for the first time and other green islands or roundabouts where heavy steps, including bathing houses, Windsor Place, Jalan Barakhamba and Ferozeshah Road, officials said.
