New Delhi: Delhi on Friday recording 10 new cases of Omicron variants from Covid-19.
Following new infections, the total number of patients with omicron infection has risen to 20 in the city.
Health Minister Delhi Satyendar Jain said that 10 patients had been repatriated after they recovered from infection.
The National Capital on Thursday recorded 85 fresh Covid-19 cases, the highest in more than four months, while the level of progress also rose to 0.15 percent, according to Delhi’s government health bulletin.
Jain said 40 people are currently being treated at special facilities at Lok Nayak Hospital which is intended to isolate and treat the cases of obsicrons suspected.
According to the Ministry of Health official, the Covid case is not classified by a variant in the bulletin and there is no separate category for the Omicron case.
