New Delhi: A 30-year-old woman and four children, between three and 11 years old, was found dead in their home in Tapapuri old on Wednesday afternoon.
The initial findings revealed that the family had slept with a burning Angeethi (Brazier) and may die after breathing smoke.
However, the woman’s family had accused playing rotten.
The police said the cause of death would actually only be ascertained after postmortem examination.
Died women have been identified as Radha, a domestic worker, and his children as Komal (11), Jitin (8), Raushani (3) and Arav (3).
He lives in a rented flat on the fifth floor of a building in the old nonapuri with her husband, Mohit Kala, who is a helper on a private bus in Anand Vihar.

The flat belongs to Amarpal Singh (60), a resident of Shalimar Garden.
Singh went to the house on Wednesday morning to collect rent and documents from Radha and Kalia because they had shifted recently.
He told the police that he knocked on the door, but returned when no one answered.
DCP (Shahdara) R Sathiyasundaram said it seems that the family died of shortness of breath.
“Brazier is stored in the room.
These are small rooms without ventilation.
Maybe, the inhalation of smoke causes death.
However, the actual cause of death will only be known after an autopsy report,” he added.
However, after the female family accused playing with his death, Kalia was taken to police custody.
Help Kumar (38), Radha’s brother, told the police, “I received a call around 1pm that told me that my sister and all four children had died.
I rushed to her house and met Mohit.
