New Delhi: The day after IED was found in a bag that was not kept in the Ghazipur Flower Market, the threat of a bomb was appointed after two bags left behind were found in the East Delhi trilokpuri on Wednesday.
However, the police said no suspicious was found and both bags, one of them contained laptops, cellphones and personal documents, allegedly stolen from Hazrat Nizamuddin by Thak Thak Gang.
PCR got a call about two bags that lay unattended near the Metro Pillar number 59 in Trilokpuri.
Police from the Kalyanpuri police station rushed to the place and isolated the place.
“The bomb disposal forces also reached there and after the examination, no suspicious was found in the bag,” said an officer.
DCP (East) Priyanka Kashyap said one bag containing laptops, cellphones, personal care items and documents.
“After checking the document, we found that one of the bags owned by Somesh Gupta (23).
He was called for further investigation,” the officer added.
Somesh came with his brother, Sidharth Gupta, from Kotdwar in Uttarakhand for the southern extension to shop.
“While the brothers were on the road that was elevated by barapullah, their bag was stolen by the Thak Thak gang from the back seat of their vehicle.
The incident occurred between 11.45 in the morning and noon on Wednesday.
They then filed a complaint at the Nizamuddin police station,” the officer said that.
Meanwhile, the police got a call at 6.36 afternoon on Wednesday that a bomb was planted at the CRPF headquarters in the CGO complex.
The CISF joint team, CRPF and police are thoroughly checked the high security area.
“It is a calling call,” said DCP (South) Benita Mary Jaiker.
During the investigation, it was found that the call was made by Telangana residents.
Southeast District Police also received a call on the threat of a bomb near the Jamia Millia Islamic station on Wednesday.
“The caller told us that a box, lying in a white car stood near the metro station, maybe a bomb.
When we checked the vehicle, we found that it was only a battery,” said an officer.
