New Delhi: A 63-year-old man was arrested for allegedly selling church property in Rajpur Road by creating fake documents, police said on Saturday.
The defendant, Shoral Bobby Dass, was arrested from the civil line area in Banda (Uttar Pradesh) recently.
The additional Commissioner of the Police (EOW) RK Singh said that one Prakash Sulochana, the president of the Christian of India’s Christian, previously claimed that his organization was the owner of the bona fide from the property in Rajpur Road.
“He accused that one Ramesh Chander Aggarwal in Convance with one Sunil Kumar and one Ajay Gupta hatched a criminal conspiracy and prepared fake documents and made about property,” Singh said.
During the investigation, the role of co-discused John Augustine and Dass appeared.
On April 6, 2005, the general strength of lawyers (GPA) was executed by “Chairman of the Presidential Guardian of the Indian Church Agustinus” Supporting Dass.
However, further investigation revealed that Augustine had never held the position of Chairman of the Trustee of the Indian Church or Metropolitan Position.
“Augustine has never been given the right or authority to manage one of the churches or church property, so the GPA is executed by Augustine who supports the defendant, DASS, and the implementation of further GPA that supports NULL and Void,” the police said.
The team that arrested the defendant was led by DCP (EOW) Rajeev Ranjan.
