New Delhi: In a city where the room is in a premium, BBS discom has produced an innovative solution to create infrastructure that can meet the increasing Delhi power demand.
Diskomes have installed a compact and high substation at Nehru Place Market, which takes a fifth of space compared to conventional distribution transformers.
The first 400 KVA substance was installed by BBS at the South Delhi Vasant Kunj last year.
“The place in Nehru Place is even more compact.
It will power the electric vehicle charging station in Nehru Place, regardless of the market.
The circuit breaker is in the four-polar structure.
In addition, he has two alternative supply sources if someone becomes wrong,” The BES spokesman said.
High shear takes a little more than four square meters, compared to 20 square meters with a conventional transformer.
“The compact high substance will play an invaluable role in increasing the reliability of the power supply in a solid area,” said the spokesman.
Developed at home, the substation needs about two months to be arranged.
“For the next few months, around 30 transformers installed pillars will be installed in several solid areas.
We have regularly explored the possibility of maintaining a reliable power supply even in areas with space constraints,” BBS official said.
“Apart from this, the BBS also installed a double-decker substation in a very dense area.
The substance of 630 KVA will also help strengthen the power supply.
We have installed 14 concise double-decker substations so far, which help reduce losses and local errors, “The spokesman said.
Delhi’s power request has increased by more than two and a half times in the past two decades.
While demand for peak power was 2,789 MW in 2002, it passed 7,400 MW in 2019.
