New Delhi: 18-year-old young man was arrested for strangling a 72-year-old woman to death at his home in Multan Nagar, Delhi, and stole Rs 20,000 from home.
Police said the arrest was carried out in four hours after crime was reported.
The police identified the teenager as Rohit Dubey, a resident of Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, who worked at the Son of Women’s shop.
On Wednesday around 1 in the morning, the police received information from the Balaji action hospital in Paschim Vihar about an old woman, Saroj Jain, was treated by her son and his death for stranged.

“Manish added that he did not realize Dubey returned to Delhi and reached Multan Nagar on Wednesday night when his mother was alone at home.
“He entered the house and stole Rs 20,000.
When Saroj saw Dubey and tried to lift the alarm, he pushed him on the floor and strangled him under the feet,” said DCP Singh.
“Manish reached the house and saw Dubey fled.
While Manish was present to his mother, Dubey reached the store to find the RS 90,000 he hid before.
