New Delhi: Two men were arrested for allegedly kidnapping and kidnapping a 18-year-old young man in Burari North Delhi.
The defendant wanted to squeeze Rs 10 lakh from the youth family.
The man who was arrested, Gopal (19), cleanser in the clothing showroom, and Sushil (19) was dropping out of school and Burari residents.
The police have confiscated the victim’s cellphone and the rope used by the defendant to strangle him.
Around 11:30 a.m.
on January 23, the police received a reporting call that Rohan, a class XI student, was gone.
DCP (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi said, “The young man’s father, a Masala trader and Namkeen, told the police that he had left the house around 6pm with his friend Gopal to attend a birthday party.
When the Gopal was contacted, he told the police that Rohan Leave a party around 10pm.
Technical investigation showed the location of the youth cellphone lost in Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh.
“Three investigation teams were formed, one on duty with outside attacks and supervision, the second to conduct a technical investigation by analyzing CCTV recordings and telephone details, and The third to collect intelligence and raids in the city.
During the probe, the recording of around 200 CCTV cameras was examined and the location of missing teen friends was obtained.
“After analyzing the suspect’s telephone number, Gopal was arrested on January 25 from Burari and was interrogated.
When faced with technical evidence, he revealed that his friends and he killed Rohan.
The young man’s body finally recovered from the plot at the Vihar Harit, Burari,” Kalsi said .
Based on the disclosure of the gopal, Sushil was also arrested.
“Gopal claimed that he was inspiring from Bollywood films to plan and carry out kidnapping.
He began to interact with Rohan a year ago and immediately friends with him.
Then, he got along with his two friends, who used to consume drugs with him, to carry out his plan.
Plan to demand Rs 10 lakh as a ransom and then kill Rohan to avoid being arrested.

Rohan and his father often visited the clothing showroom where the gopal worked, which caused friendship between them.
In January, Rohan and his father shopped for clothes worth Rs 10,000.
This made the gopal think that the family was able to pay the lakh as a ransom if he kidnapped Rohan.
After kidnapping him, the trio pushed the plastic bag in his mouth and strangled him with a rope.
