Vadodara: The surge in cases of dengue fever continues in the city with around 30 new cases reported every Sunday.
And if officials must be trusted, viral fever spreads by mosquitoes tends to continue for several more months.
Apart from 659 cases reported to Friday night, one person died of this disease.
The actual data of the case of dengue fever may be much higher because the fast test for dengue fever is not considered a confirmation and is not taken into account.
Dengue’s case began to drip at the beginning of this year and most likely it would continue until November or even December this year.
Usually, cases began to increase in August.
At the current level, the number of cases of total bloody fever can exceed them in recent years.
The source said that the low number of cases last year could cheat after Covid-19 pandemics.
Many with dengue infection may have been tested positive for Covid-19.
Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) medical officer, Dr.
Devesh Patel said that the Ministry of Health team began working widely to ensure that mosquito breeding was under control.
“The only way out is to make sure the location of breeding is being treated and people protect themselves against mosquitoes,” Patel said.
Patel said that although dengue cases were widely reported and consciousness, the team still found a place of breeding in the house.
“Drive promotes ‘your enemy is in your house’, but we found a breeding site at home even after the case of dengue fever was reported there,” he said.
Besides Dengue, the Chikungunya case was also reported in the city.
However, the amount is much lower than the case of dengue fever with 385 cases reported so far.
