Patna: The State Health Department has started preparations to vaccinate 32 lakh more teenagers against Covid-19 on January 26.
Children in the age group 15-18 are mostly class IX students to XII.
Because the council’s examination will begin next month, the state has set a target to vaccinate all test participants with at least one dose of vaccine.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, Special Secretary of the Ministry of Health, told this newspaper on Saturday that instructions had been issued for civil surgeons, DMS and district education officers among other officials concerned to wear plans to vaccinate Board students before the start.

Bihar School inspection board (BSEB) will hold a medium examination from February 1 to 13 and the matriculation exam from 17 to 24 February.
About 13.4 BSEB lakh students will appear for intermediary exams and 16.48 lakh for the temporary matriculation of a minimum of 2 lakh will appear in CBSE and up to 18,000 in the ICSCE exam.
In Patna, Tika Express will be operated from 16 to 30 January.
Five vehicles will be provided for each block, which will include vaccinators and verification.
Patna DM Chandrashekhar Singh has directed all executive officials to prepare work plans for 15 days to 30 January coordinate with members of their respective environmental councils.
He directed the officials concerned to make adequate arrangements for the arrival of vaccination vehicles in the ward on the scheduled date.
For extensive vaccination coverage, the DM has asked officials to travel awareness in every ward.
