Mangaluru: Despite falling dramatically in the number of Daily Covid-19 cases, the level of participants and active Kaseload, the Dakshina Kannada district has decided not to let the guard down immediately.

Between September 27 and October 3, the district recorded a weekly test level of 0.9% weekly.
While the district conducted 64,817 RT-PCR tests in one week, 610 positive cases were reported.

While the weekly test level is 1.3% in Mangaluru and 1.2% in beltangady, all other talukads show less than 1% and only 0.2% in SULLI .
Also, Mangaluru Taluk recorded 372 cases in last week, Belthangady -74, Bantwal-70, Putture-34 and only 13 cases reported in Sullia Taluk.
The district has also recorded 47 positive cases, which are patients from other districts, in the previous week, he said.
