Vadodara: Raju Bhatt, accused of raping a 24-year-old law student from a private university, returned to police custody for three more days by a local court on Sunday.
Bhatt’s detention ends on Sunday afternoon, but the interrogation and further collection of some more aroused evidence has not been done where the police are looking for further detainees.
“Bhatt has sent a photo taken by a spy camera installed in the complainant house to him, but he hasn’t revealed how he managed to get these photos and who had installed a camera in the first place in his house,” said the Assistant Prosecutor Sagar Desai .
The police will also take Bhatt to Dove Deck Society at Ajwa Road for crime reconstruction.
The complainant has lived in the community at first when he came to Vadodara and Bhatt also went there, to meet him.
Incidentally, the Bootlegger Alpesh Wadhwani alias Alpu Sindhi, who was accused of people close to the Chartered Account Ashok Jain from collecting all rape cases, was a neighbor of the complainant at the Society Deck Society.
Meanwhile, Pavagadh Temple Trust has decided to remove Bhatt as the guardian of the board.
The Board will pass the resolution in this regard during his upcoming meeting for Navratri.
Bhatt is also a trust secretary, but after FIR was registered against him, he gave up.
