T’puram: When school reopened on Monday, a family in the capital city disrupted their son’s loss, who lost his life in a strange incident on Sunday.
Dev, son in Divya S Kumar and Srellal Kudappankunnu, sank after slipping into the river in front of his house.
A class II student, who was diagnosed with autism at birth, Dev likes painting and drawing.
Dev Therapist Suprabha Prakash said he came to care when he was two years old.
“His parents were fast in a monthly inspection.
They tried hard to help their children deal with autism and live a normal life,” Suprabha said.
The boy lost around 4:30 a.m.
when his father went to the shop near their home.
Immediately, parents find Dev missing and start looking.
They realized he could sneak into the river.
The villagers and firefighting personnel who were sought in the flow and their bodies were found at 17:30.
Dev’s Twin brother Devesh is in the same class.
Their younger sister was in class VII.
