Ranchi: DGP Neeraj Sinha State on Wednesday instructed field officers to investigate overall crime cases that have created negative impressions on public thoughts about legal and order situations and taking strict legal action against criminals.
DGP is reviewing the situation of law and order with senior officers, including the Additional Director General, General Inspector, Deputy General Inspector and Supervisor of the police, through video conferencing.
The meeting agenda includes controlling kidnapping, extortion, rape and organized crime and dumping cases that are delayed.
DGP said that the list of criminals involved in organized crime must be prepared.
He said that the police had to take steps to cancel the bail criminals involved in crime after leaving prison.
He added that criminals must be ordered under the crime control law adding order to their extradition from the district or daily presence at the police station must be secured.
DGP asked the officer to start a trip to the NAB which would add to the Department of Criminal Investigation Review the achievement regularly.
He directs that action must be accelerated against criminals involved in the illegal trade of coal and land.
He said that local officers will be responsible if there are unauthorized coal, sand and stone mining in the area.
DGP instructed officers to set up a police picket in areas where special shipping corridors were being built.
At the crime of cyberspace, DGP said that the district had to send a team outside the country to arrest criminals targeting people living in Jharkhand.
Reviewing the delayed case, the DGP warned that officials whose weakness delayed the disposal of cases would face disciplinary action.
