New Delhi: Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday held a review meeting to strengthen school education including the implementation of 2020 National Education Policy (NEP 2020), development of digitizing capacity and teacher.
Other meetings are expected to be held on Monday to prepare an action plan, said source.
The new school curriculum framework also tends to come for discussion on Monday.
Saturday’s meeting was attended by secretaries, school education and other officials.
Pradhan, who is also responsible for the development of the skills and the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, expressed interest in the convergence of school education and the skills development to make students ready in the future.
Pradhan then tweeted: “21st century Indian laboratories, our schools must give our children the opportunity to explore themselves and develop.
Strong school education system will help build the community of knowledge and laid the foundation of new India.”
