Dharwad provides an ideal location for Zonal Cultural Center

Dharwad: Minister of Parliament Pralhad Joshi has stated that the central government has positively responded to Karnataka’s request to establish a zone cultural center in the state.
Joshi told Tii on Friday that the Chairman of the Minister of Bukavaraj Bommai and the Minister of Kannada and the culture of Sunil Kumar had submitted a proposal to the central government on his orders.
Joshi handed over a proposal to the Cultural Union Minister, Kishan Reddy, and Mos Arjunram Meghawal with a request to consider the same thing.
“The ministers responded positively,” Joshi said.
Dharwad, which has the potential to be developed as a special cultural zone, offers an ideal location to accommodate zonal cultural centers.
The city of Seven Hills has all the qualifications to be developed as a special cultural zone.
Apart from Artistes and the authors of all Rona, the city has an audience with tastes for sad cultural and climate activities to maintain activities to stay alive throughout the year.
There are several cultural centers in the city within a radius of only 5-7 km which make cases to develop the city into a strong cultural zone.
Malikarjun Mansur Kala Kala Bhavan and Karnataka Vidyavardhaka Sangha in the heart of the city, the Rangayana Unit and Cultural Complex of Suvarna, Government Art Gallery, Dr.
Veerendra Heggade Kalashetra, Venkatrao Flow Auditorium, Advanced Srujana Auditorium, Bendre Bhavan and Carnatak University Auditorium and University of Agricultural Sciences, Dr.
Gangubai Hanagal Gurukul Andyashwant Sardeshpande’s Adiranga Theater is all close.
Dharwad does not have a scarcity of musicians, dancers, actors, script writers, poets and novelists.
There are several groups that have maintained continuous cultural activities throughout the year.
Realizing the potential of the Dharwad, Deputy Commissioner Darpan Jain has sent a proposal to the government to empower all of these places with appropriate logistics and other facilities to carry out cultural activities.
Getting a zonal cultural center to Dharwad is expected to help realize the dream.
It will also help tourism promotions in the region.
“Bengaluru was saturated with several companies.
It’s time to spread the organization that promotes literature, art and culture to other parts of Karnataka,” said Actor-Director Yashwant Sardeshpande.
Box seven centers such as throughout India the central government has established seven zonal cultural centers (ZCCS) with headquarters in Patiala, Nagpur, Udaipur, Prayagraj, Kolkata, Dijapur, and Tharavur.
Criteria for selection of places for ZCC are traditional cultural moorings of places and accessibility to people.
Institutionally, each center has a complex that includes galleries for exhibitions, facilities for performing arts, auditoriums, archives, and libraries etc.
The main goal of the ZCC is the creative development of Indian culture in various regions and to build a sense of cohesiveness in the country.
The mandate of the centers requires to take culture, until now, preserve the elite and prosperous, to the threshold of ordinary human doors.
