Mysuru: District Health Officer Dr KH Prasad and a team visiting schools in MySuru and educated students, teachers and school management on Friday after the increasing number of positive cases of covid among children in MySuru.Pasad visited the school and asked about health Students and staff and examine preventive measures on the school campus to maintain infection in the bay.
He told school students and teachers that around 2,013 were positive children in the district.
From them, 14 were in the hospital and around 40 were in the Covid treatment center.
Others under the age of 18 are in house isolation.
Prasad suggested students to take precautionary measures when in crowded places, especially in schools, and followed the appropriate behavior of Covid such as wearing a mask and maintaining physical distance.
According to health officials, positive cases increased among school children and the government had published the direction to the closing of the school for five days if more children were infected at the Institute.
The doctor’s team then educated school children and teachers about the steps to be taken to prevent covid infection.
The students were told to be tested immediately for fever.
School management is told to clear the campus and class on alternative days.
