Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada Tourism Department will soon launch QR Code technology to provide details of all tourist attractions in the district.
Deputy Department of Tourism Deputy Director Manikanya said working on the code ‘Welcome to Dakshina Kannada’qr ready, and is expected to be launched in two weeks.
This department has been related to the Association of Taximen and Maxicab for the distribution of QR code stickers, which will be included in each vehicle, for tourist convenience.

Chhanhan said that once the QR code was scanned, users could even see teasers highlight the importance of districts, which were released during the celebration of world tourism day recently.
