Mangaluru: The school was opened back in Dakshina Kannada after a gap of nearly six months.
District administration allows in-people classes for VIII, IX and X values, on Friday.
According to Malleswamy, DDPI, Dakshina Kannada, on the first day, the percentage of overall presence in all districts was above 60 years.
“Some associated and private schools have decided to open only from Monday.
However, the overall response on the first day is more than expected,” he said.
On the first day, 170 secondary schools, 114 high schools and 251 schools without help were opened on the first day.
Block educational officials (Beos) told TII that a number of students had come to attend class.
Some schools have 60% of presence while some have more than 80% of attendance.
“Children are eager to return to campus for regular learning,” officials said.
All schools are cleaned and dissed.
Some schools are decorated with flowers and bunts, to welcome students on campus.
In some schools, SDMC members and teachers welcome students back to campus by offering flowers.
Class for VI and VII values will start from Monday.
In-people classes for students from class VI to X will be divided into two sessions – morning and evening – to avoid rush at school.
Classes for class IX and X will be held in the morning until 1:30 a.m.
and class VIII students have a class in the afternoon until 4:30 a.m., while the class for class VI and VII starts on Monday, which will be held in the morning.
