Madurai: DMK in power in Tamil Nadu by making 505 false election promises and not fulfilled, the coordinator of AIADMK O Panneerselvam said on Friday.
“If the DMK does not fulfill his appointment and provide the right governance, the government will come to the right place – to the US (AIADMK),” said the party coordinator O Panneerselvam said in Theni while leading the state-aiadmk protest against what he called an anti-style attitude DMK government.
He stated that the former Minister of Justice J Jayalalithaa came out with the most dense scheme and high view for the people and fulfilled it.
This was followed by the government Edappadi K palaniswami-LED, he added.
“The DMK government has no far ahead,” he added.
Ops said that the time when people will come to the streets and protests are close.
“They said Stalin would come and bring dawn to Tamil Nadu but still unconscious even seven months after they came to power,” he said.
Former CM also accused the powerful party to hand over the rights of the state of the Mullaseriyar dam, the main water source for five districts in Tamil Nadu, although the government of Jayalalithaa fought it at the Supreme Court to strengthen the dam and to increase the water level for a full reservoir capacity of 152 feet.
Panneerselvam said the quality of rice distributed at the public distribution system outlet had worsened to the level at which even livestock refused to consume it.
The AIADMK leader holds the state government responsible for inflation and the increase in the price of essential food and vegetables.
He also said the DMK government was responsible for the remaining fuel prices.
