Coimbatore: DMK on Tuesday won 11 out of 13 posts in the shopping of a rural local body in the district, leaving only two seats for the rival aiadmk.
Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK), Makkal Needhi MAIAM (NMM) and DMDK attracted empty in elections.
DMK Fielded E Anandan for Pain Pancayat Ward Members of Ward 3 (Annur Panchayat Union) and AIADMK advocates Karupusamy, former MLA for the post.
Nine more candidates from DMDK, MNM and NTK and independent candidates are contested for the post.
A total of 42,078 votes were surveyed in the selection of by-election for posts held on October 9, the calculation began on Tuesday around 8:40 a.m.
The total number of rounds for calculation is nine.
At the end of the ninth round, Anandan won by securing 26,292 votes while Karuppusamy surveyed only 13,251, Manikandan NTK was third with 873 votes.
Local farming rural bodies are held for the position of President of Panchayat Village Divansapudur.
C Kalavani, members of the DMK, who are contested for the post and he is treated as an independent candidate.
6,555 votes surveyed.
Kalaivani won with 4,372 votes.
Likewise, K Narayanamurthy, a member of the DMK, which was contested to study the village of Panchayat Village Talkumarapalayam and won by securing 1,451 votes.
As many as 2,312 sound surveyed for the post.

Rustic Body Local by-Election was held for 10 positions of Ward Panchayat Village.
Member DMK P Muthukukar Won from Ward Number 15 of thekkampatti Village Pancayat.
He secured 379 votes (total polling sound 591).
P Murugammal Won from Ward Number 10 Veliankadu Panchayat Village and he gets 213 votes.
DMK Candidates M Mahendran (112 votes from Number 2- No.
10 Muthur Village Panchayat), P Manonmanman (155 votes from Number 5- Kalipalayam Village Panchayat), S Sivaprakash (259 votes from Environmental Number 3- Madampatti Village Pancayat), A Arulraj ( 387 votes from number 9- KurudamPalayam Village Panchayat), R Senthilkumar – (289 votes from Ward Number 6 – Zaminmuthur Village Pancayat) and M Jayaprakash (168 votes from Ward Number 4 – Seeralayaam Village Panchayat) winning in elections.
Two members of the Aidmk, who won the Pemandu, were P Sandhya (214 votes from Ward 6 Bogampatti Panchayat Village) and M Suregh (372 votes from Ward 3 Bellathi Village Panchayat).
Already, three members of the ward from the village of J Krishnapuram Panchayat (Ward Number 6), Jallipatti Panchayat Village (Number Land 8) and Zaminmuthur Village Panchayat (number 6) were chosen without a padlock.
