Patna: Minister of Health Mangal Pandey said on Monday that the doctor and health worker infected with Covid-19 was the reason to be a concern.
His statement came on the day when 90 doctors and MBBS students were tested positive for Covid-19, including 72 from NMCC.
Even the day before 84 Medicos NMCH was tested positive for Covid-19.
In the past three days, 168 doctor / MBBS NMC students have been positively tested.
Pandey told reporters on the sidelines of the launch of vaccination drives for teenagers in Bihar that if those involved in care becomes sick, managing the situation will become more difficult.
He responded to media questions about 84 students and students of MBBS in the positive Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) test for Covid on Sunday.
“While the number of cases increases, the severity seems lower than in previous years, based on information from around the world,” Minister said, urged people to comply with all safety prevention measures.
Meanwhile, Dr.
V P Choudhary, Principal of PMCH, told TI on Monday that at all 1,167 samples were tested on Monday, where 14 was positive.
“Overall 12 PMCH doctors have tested positive covid in the past few days,” he added.
Dr.
Sanjeev Kumar, Nodal officer for Covid at AIIMS-P, was also confirmed on Monday that three senior residents in his hospital had been tested positively Covid-19.
Two previous faculty members have been tested positive on Saturday.
He also expressed concern about infected health workers.

A total of 96 doctors and MBBS students have tested Covid’s positive at NMCH on Sunday night.
Dr.
Binod Kumar Singh, the hospital supervisor, claimed that the majority showed mild symptoms.
