Patna: Contrary to the Claim of Power Minister Raj Kumar Singh Raj Kumar Singh in the country because of the lack of coal, Bihar CM Nith Kumar on Monday said the country did not get any electricity provided from NTPC and there was a problem in the number of electricity offices needed to the country.
Responding to the media query for the existing power crisis because of the lack of coal, said Nitish, “it is true there is a problem.
This is the fact that we (Bihar) do not get any electricity provided from the NTPC and other companies (power plants).

Some reasons because such situations have emerged.
This is not only at Bihar, everywhere.
“Nitish said he asked about the current power supply status in the state of the Energy Department official on Monday.
“Officials told me that electricity was not supplied according to the requirements of the state.
They buy electricity at a higher level of other companies and maintain supply in the state.
Apart from the crisis, the State Energy Department is a prompt in carrying a supply situation to the normal level by buying Electricity at a higher level of a company outside the electricity purchase agreement.
“CM also said that Bihar bought around 570 electricity units from electricity from the power exchange in the last 5 days with the cost of Rs 90 Crore.
He said at the moment 5,500 to 5,600 MW electricity was provided for consumers in Bihar after buying it at a higher level.
Electricity is supplied to consumers according to their demands.
“We have to spend more money because of electricity purchases from companies outside the power purchase agreement,” Nitish said.
Earlier on Sunday, UNI’s minister said in Delhi that there was enough coal for power production in the country and there would be no blackouts due to lack of power supply.
Responding to other requests, Nitish said since Bihar gave him the opportunity to serve the country he began working quickly to improve the situation of the power supply throughout the state.
In the early years, many steps were taken to improve the situation in existing power plants and also to regulate new power plants.
Then, the state government surrendered all power plants to NTPC through an agreement.
“Now, there is no power plant plant under the Bihar government,” Nitish said.
