Chennai: Audio Clip Police Commissioner Tambaram M Ravi where the top police sounded warned his people that they would dress in Enmasse, if they refused to receive complaints from public members, has become viral on social media.
The Commissioner has asked personnel to be friends with the public and did not make people walk between police stations to register their complaints.
The officer has directed police personnel to immediately respond to complaints and remove CSR, whatever his complaint.
Officers quoted a case below the limit of the Palikarani police station, where the police did not act quickly.
Even complaints at virtual world crimes must be accepted and given interests, he said, adding people should not be directed to file complaints at the head office.
He also issued instructions to people in Khaki to do their duties sincerely or face music.
