Bengaluru: Big train passengers such as Rajdhani Express and Karnataka Express can look forward to a quick and timely trip with a double line’s double line commission railway 10.7 km with 25 KV electrically from Devarapalli to Hindupur.
This section was assigned on Wednesday after inspection and approval by law by Abhai Kumar Rai, a train safety commissioner (CRS), South Circle.
This is part of the Yelakeka Muplosing Project – Penukonda 110km.
“Yelarahka – Doublonda Doubling Project was approved in 2015-16 at RS 860.43 Crore.
A total of about 82 km from doubled completed with commissioning parts devarapalli – Hindupur.
