Thiruvananthapuram: The center has stated that the detailed project report (DPR) of the Silverline High-Speed Rail Corridor project delivered by an incomplete state because it does not include details that are quite technical feasibility.
In a treated reply at Lok Sabha on Tuesday for questions submitted by N K Premachandran and K Muraleedharan, Minister of Railway Ashwini Vaishnaw said the DPR was being examined by the Ministry.
“KRDCL has been suggested to provide detailed technical documents such as a distribution plan, details of railroad and private land, crossing through existing railroad networks, which describe the assets of railroad affected by zone trains for project inspection and to the conclusion of the project’s feasibility , “Reply to the Minister’s Reply.
KRDCL (Kerala Rail Development Corporation Ltd) – The state government joint venture (51%) and the train Ministry (49%) – has submitted the DPR Corridor Corridor Project 530.6 km to the middle.
The state government’s decision to move forward with the project, is estimated to cost 63,941 crore, and initial doubts in making the DPR people invite criticism.
Vaishnaw said the financial feasibility of the project will also be examined and sought after finalizing the technical parameters and projects will be subject to sanctions on the basic feasibility of the project economy.
