Noida / Ghaziabad: The State Government stated that the Director’s Level Officer with Ghaziabad and GB Nagar respectively, ahead of the two-day-level drill to assess the readiness amid the increasing virus virus.
In GB Nagar, the district health department has also appointed nodal officers for all Covid facilities, including Noida Covid Hospital and four community health centers (CHCS), which have been assigned to make adequate arrangements in each facility and ensure their smooth running.
The two districts will use “direct” patients to do exercises on Friday and Saturday.
According to sources, Nodal officers will oversee the entire process of calls received about patients by Covid control space to their recognition and care.
The whole focus, officials said, will be on the “mechanism of the response” and “availability of oxygen beds and hospitals”.
On Thursday, Ghaziabad’s medical head, Dr.
Bhavtosh Shankhdhar said, “The whole exercise is about how the district will deal with Covid cases that are increasing.
We have hit a plan and implement it according to cases that come to light.” GB Nagar Director (Health), which is also the nodal officer of this district, meanwhile, called a meeting with health officials on Thursday night.
According to sources, this district is currently facing a shortage of pediatrics.
A pediatrician appointed under the head of the medical officer is responsible for all Covid cases related to children.
Until December 16, GB Nagar reported 44 fresh covid infections, which 24 were active cases.
Ghaziabad has also recorded a large number of patients during the past week, taking the calculation for that month to 32 so far.
“Although there are no cases of confirmed omicrons in the district, in the past few days, Covid’s case has seen a sharp increase.
We conducted a focus testing in the fields where the case was reported,” said the Ghaziabad Supervisory Officer Dr.
RK Gupta.
