Ahmedabad: From 16 to 30 June, Ahmedabad City recorded 463 positive cases of Covid-19, which fell to 190 from 1 to 15 July, recorded a drop of 59%.
While the case was increasingly split in two, the percentage of drop Gujarat was higher at 65% – from 2,445 to 861.
Analysis of the four big cities Gujarat revealed that only Vadodara had a steeper decline at 67%, while letters and rajkot were recorded 56 each % and 58%.
In terms of death, Gujarat recorded a decrease of 71% – from 52 to 15 in the same period.
The decline is 67% for Ahmedabad and 75% for letters.
Vadodara in the last 30 days recording one death while Rajkot zero in accordance with the state of the state government.
Gujarat now has 606 active cases – where 221 or one third is in the Ahmedabad district.
The three districts now have zero active cases, while 17 have 1 to 10 cases, 12 has 11 to 50 cases, and one has more than 50 cases.
Of the 33 districts and eight city corporations, 23 did not record any case on Friday.
“We are now experiencing figures who remind at the beginning of the pandemic.
It’s time to reason and ensure that the cases don’t rise.
It takes hours to do contacts and travel history from all cases,” said a city-based epidemiologist.
