Ghaziabad: Electric bus services are likely to be launched on four routes from December 25, Commissioner of Mahendra Singh Tanwar said Tuesday.

“The e-bus will be gradually introduced.
In the first phase, 25 e-buses will plying on four routes.
More routes and 25 other electronic buses will be added to the next phase,” said Commissioner Civic to Ti.
According to officials, the service will begin in Anand Vihar to Muradnagar, Anand Vihar to Alt, Dilshad Garden to Govindpuram and Tilla Fashion Bhopura to the ADDA bus from Saturday.
“The bus rates have been decided according to the length of the trip.
For the first three kilometers, the cost will be Rs 10 while for 4-6 km the cost will be RS 15,” Tanwar said, adding that the maximum tariff would be Rs 50.

At present, services will only be launched on four routes.
