September to December watched 57% of entrepreneurs in e-commerce segments and startup technology interested in hiring more, according to a report by teamlease staffing firmlease.
During this year, the demand is high for the role in supply chain management, in warehousing (executive shipping, drive, voter, packing, loader), support services, and customer service management.
Even Tier-2 to -4 regions see a surge in recruitment, with e-commerce entering the country’s interior.
The last quarter saw Kolkata and Gurgaon as the top area for work in these sectors.
The company also provides greater remuneration to employees during the year.
Many also introduce unique benefits and compensation such as relaxing their presence policies, providing flexibility in changes in schedules, additional ill leave, and exploring children’s parenting options.
Teamlease Services VP Ajoy Thomas said many new job opportunities would be added in 2022 and recruitment would rise 32% during this year.
