JAMSHEDPUR: After 30 new cases of Covid-19 infection reported in the last 11 days, the administration of East Singhbhum Regency has increased vaccination drive and launched a cellular vaccination vos to reach the maximum number of recipients.
Officials say Van will be available on request from the area where more than 10 beneficiaries can take advantage of services after contacting district vaccination cells on the phone or email.
Dhalbhum HR Sandeep Kumar Meena, who is also a senior responsible for district vaccination cells, said people who have not taken the first dose so far can take advantage of the mobile van vaccination scheme.
On Tuesday, administration on Tuesday issued two cellphone numbers – 6207628627/7858638654 – and e-mail ID – vacciniacell@gmail.com – where the recipient can approach van vaccination requests.
HR also said vaccination cell officials would contact the beneficiaries, which had missed the second dose.
Beneficiaries will receive phone calls from vaccination cells or SMS on their cellphones from the NIC (National Informatics Center) asking them to be vaccinated.
The chair of additional medical officers, Sahir Pall, said that the cellphone of the Van vaccination program has been going on for some time but due to lack of demand, the number of vans has decreased.
