Kochi: In the midst of increasing concerns of students and parents about the difficulty of the question in the Term-1 Board of Secondary Education Council (CBSE) class XII, the CBSE National School Council wrote to CBSE who requested Lenient Evaluation Answer Sheet.
The Board has received feedback from school after class XII English and Mathematics, held on December 3 and 6.
The letter stated the challenges faced by students and schools.
The Board said that maintaining students in class 11 and 12 at CBSE schools has always been a challenge because parents feel that students will not be able to get the desired value even qualify for higher education.
Math questions are somewhat too difficult and long and some questions come out of the syllabus.
He also said some questions think very high and very time consuming to solve.
English papers have ambiguous questions, especially in the writing, the letter said.
“This kind of papers will add to the misery of parents and hence they prefer the country’s board in the future.
Prospective students who want to prepare competitive examinations will also lose interest in the subject because of the inability to perform well.
A little consideration of the learning of students because of the academic break because Covid’s pandemic should be considered, “the letter was signed by the Secretary General of the Indira Council of Rajar.
