By Kavita Jadhao we got freedom in the middle of the night but it seems that Fajar hasn’t arrived yet.
I get the privilege of serving humanity in the most noble way by providing knowledge to a dynamic future in India.
With all the lifetime lessons that pandemics have taught us in almost two years, it’s time to reform our education policy to make India global superpowers.
I strongly advocated to bring transformation in schools and higher education in the coming year.
I believe the board test now has more application and knowledge-based.
Residents must understand that education is not just about learning facts, but about learning how to utilize the facts learned the best.
Teaching and learning methods must generate curiosity in each student.
The institute of higher education, public and private education must be regulated by the same norm.
The school curriculum must focus more on the core concept, along with several chapters on the history of the city or region.
New education policy (NEP) is a step towards the achievement of new dawn in the education industry.
The main goal of NEP is to improve the quality of education which is equivalent to all and moves towards strengthening the global stature of India.
There are many gaps in the current online education system, including the use of unfair facilities in the exam.
The teacher must change their pedagogy in such a way that students develop more interest in the lesson.
We must facilitate several learning lines involving formal and non-formal education modes.
Counselors and trained social workers must be included in school.
This will instill true moral values in students so they can bear social responsibility.
High time to improve important learning, practical and critical thinking, coupled with experimental thinking.
The new curriculum will include equipping students with the main skills of the 21st century, reducing previous curriculum content, allowing more flexibility in choosing subjects, and do not distinguish between science, trade and art.
Ko-curricular, vocational activities and academic flow must be considered the same.
Regional language must be promoted by making it media instruction along with other languages to STD V or VIII.
Regular and formative assessments must replace the summative assessment.
The new assessment system must be more competency-based.
This will increase the development and learning skills of students.
The teacher must be recruited with more transparent processes and promotions must be based strictly.
All types of education and training must be a fundamental part of the higher education system to strengthen students’ bases for various professions.
I hope the new year to spread the vision of the Indian-centered education system that contributes directly to transforming our nation continuously into a fair and eager knowledge society by providing high-quality education to all.
